Annotation: The article deals with the essence of national and cultural identity in philosophical and cultural aspects. The works of philosophers, psychologists and educators, who studied the subject, have been analyzed. The article describes types, forms, functions and structure of national and cultural identity of an individual, based on a comprehensive analysis of the problem.
