Annotation: The article deals with the lexical-semantic peculiarities of technical neologisms and the problems of their translation on the material of scientific and technical literature. The author mentions such methods of technical neologisms translating as transliteration, calculation, descriptive translation. As a result of the analysis it was revealed that there are no special technical methods for technical neologisms reproduction. The most difficult translation of technical neologisms is to find out the meaning of a new word.
