Annotation: The paper is concerned with the comparative analysis of legal acts regulating financial liability of employees in Ukraine and some EU as well as CIS countries. The legal regulations in Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, Kazakhstan and Belarus have been studied. Legal grounds and conditions under which an employee is to held liable in the above-mentioned countries have been investigated. Full and limited financial liability application in Lithuania, Poland, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Ukraine has been highlighted. The procedures of covering losses have been compared. The analysis of financial liability regulations in other countries have made it possible to suggest ways of improving such regulations concerning Ukrainian employees.
