Annotation: The aspiration of Ukraine to the European form of state hood as the moment of dominance of constitutional rights of the individual and the rule of law very closely connected with the process of becoming a private detective activity.The article deals with the role and legislative regulation of private detective activity in Ukraine, as well as ensuring the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of a person with the help of private detective activity through the prism of constitutional rights.
