Annotation: The article deals with the concept of insurance in tourism as a system of relations between an insurance company and a tourist to protect his life and health and property interests in the event of insured events. The specific regularities of development of insurance in the sphere of tourism in Ukraine have been evaluated. An analysis of the main trends in the development of tourism insurance in relation to the development of tourism as an industry is provided.
