Annotation: The article examines the presentation of the views of Yuriy Boyko-Blokhyn on the peculiarities of conceptual approaches to the history of literature and the literary and critical methodology of Mykola Hlobenko. The main literary concepts identified by Y. Boyko-Blokhyn in the literary and critical studies of this scientist are also outlined. The study of ideological parameters and creative ideas of a certain writer is an important component of scientific research. This makes it possible to create a three-dimensional and objective picture of the work of an artist or a certain era. As Yuriy Boyko-Blokhyn shows in his research, Mykola Hlobenko was a unique figure in the history of Ukrainian émigré literary studies and literary criticism, who was characterized by such scientific and research approaches in the study of Ukrainian literature.

Annotation: Using the example of Lesya Ukrainka's dramatic poem "Kaminnyi рospodar" by Yuriy Boyko-Blokhyn, the work demonstrates how the study of the ideological contexts of the work of one or another author allows art to reveal the influence of political realities. It has been declared how Lesya Ukrainka's drama becomes an interesting example of a peculiar artistic and political symbiosis. At the same time, it is shown how such studies of the literary text provide an opportunity to see the contextual manifestations of the creativity of the literary researcher himself, to sharpen the priorities of his scientific search.
