Annotation: The authors consider financial policy to be part of the social and economic development of the State. The article also notes that the essence of financial policy is the use of affordable financial and legal regulatory mechanisms, economic measures to meet public needs, and balanced, long-term development of the national economy. The paper notes that financial policy is tactical, that is, aimed at the current tasks. The authors note that strategic financial policy planning is now largely neglected by the regulator. The article emphasizes the importance of the customs and tax components of the State’s financial policy, and considers ways of developing and the current state of the law in these areas. The authors draw attention to the fact that Ukraine’s financial policy now depends on the subjective interests of different social groups, ignoring the very objective nature of finance as a social and economic phenomenon. The work states that financial policy is the exclusive sphere of regulation of the State and that its production should be ensured through the exercise of the State’s own functions through the competent competent authorities. The authors also draw attention to the importance of planning in building an effective financial policy model. The article stresses the importance of fiscal policy as a component of financial policy. At the same time, budgetary policies should be based on real economic indicators, take into account the future plans for the development of the State’s financial system and take into account the interests of the regions. In general, attention is paid to the problems of developing fiscal and fiscal policies in the current context of economic and political instability. The main thrusts of State policy to improve the financial system were analysed. Measures to transform the financial system have been proposed. Considered prospects for the development of current fiscal, fiscal and monetary policy.
