Annotation: The article is devoted to the fact that commodity policy is a leading component of the marketing complex, which determines the content of other components and the success of the production and economic activity of the enterprise as a whole. The main objectives of commodity policy include quality management, competitiveness and life cycle of goods, as well as product range and nomenclature. In our time, marketing has become very important in the company's activities, including the company's commodity policy. Commodity policy is an integral part of the company's marketing policy. It includes market research, consumers, competitors; development of the program of action of the firm in the field of production; forecasting of the product life cycle; as well as his analysis. The article describes the essence and components of the marketing commodity policy of enterprises. The development, formation and management of the product range and the methods of improving the marketing marketing policy of the enterprise are also highlighted.
