Annotation: This article is devoted to the study of the regulatory framework of Ukraine of the management of certain types of waste and its practical implementation. The urgency of conducting this study is conditioned by the need for Ukraine to fulfill the international commitments made under the Association Agreement between Ukraine, on the one hand, and the European Union, the European Atomic Energy Community and their Member States, on the other hand, from 2015. The main part analysis current rules of national legislation in the field of waste management: Law of Ukraine "The Waste", Order of the Ministry of Economy and European Integration of Ukraine "The procedure of collection, sorting, transportation, recycling and disposal of used packaging (packaging) ”, Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine“ The National Waste Management Strategy in Ukraine until 2030 ”, which sets out the basic principles and requirements of collection, sorting, transportation, recycling and disposal of the waste. The article also explored the rules of European law, where these issues are more fully regulated and fixed at the level of EU Council Directives.
