Annotation: The article analyzes the modern development of the world labor market in the context of globalization. The characteristics of economic activity of the population and the labor market in Ukraine and in the world are given. The influence of globalization processes on the transformation of labor markets of countries is determined. These processes prompt the countries of the world to intensify efforts to coordinate policies in the social and labor sphere, which lead to the activation of state regulation of the sphere of labor use. It is substantiated that the globalization of the economy is a consequence of the deepening of the international division of labor, which causes differentiation of economic activity, expansion of various forms of cooperation and exchange of results of activity between countries, which is an objective condition for the development of the world market.
