Annotation: In the article considers the phenomenon of infotainment on Ukrainian television, analyzes the use of this genre by the Ukrainian media market, analyzes Ukrainian TV channels and their content with programs in the infotainment genre, highlights and analyzes the evolution of the genre, classifies programs. The term itself has been studied. Infotainment as a genre is quite new, but now it has entered as a method of displaying information in almost every TV program. Today, Ukrainian television is very rich in infotainment programs. In this article the programs in the infotainment genre were analyzed and named, the history of the origin of the genre was considered.
