Annotation: The article defines methodological approaches and conducts an analysis of scientific literature on the definition of the concept of bank credit operations. The study of the stages of the organization of the "bank credit operation" was conducted and the classification of the bank's credit operations was given. The credit policy of banking institutions describes the features of banking credit business at the current economic stage and analyzes the current state of credit activity of Ukrainian banks. The problems and prospects for the development of the Ukrainian market of credit services have been identified.
