Annotation: The article is devoted to the study of features of the Institute of Criminal Offenses. The shortcomings of the legal regulation of the institution of offenses are highlighted and the ways of solving the existing problems are suggested. The necessity of harmonization of the existing legislation for the practical implementation of novelties concerning criminal offenses is substantiated.
